PV Sindhu put out a dominant show on Monday to win the women's singles gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022. Sindhu defeated former CWG gold medallist Michelle Li.
Sindhu's father PV Ramana reacted to the news of her win and said it was a "great moment both for us and the nation". He added Sindhu had a slight issue with her ankle days before Monday's match but she was well taken care of by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and she has proved herself.
