Amit Mishra entered the Safaigiri Awards 2017 stage like a true rockstar, crooning his chartbuster Bulleya from Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The singer talked about the process that goes behind the making of a song and said that even though a song is only about 5-6 minutes long, he takes at least 5-6 hours to record it. He reasons that once it is out there in the world, that is the song that people would remember him by, so he should give it his best shot.

Coming to the subject of cleanliness, Amit said that he chews a lot of gum to exercise his jaw, so that he can sing powerfully, but he always takes care to never throw the wrapper on the streets.
