These films not strike a chord with the fans, but also set cash registers ringing. From real to reel, fans love the sports heroes and Bollywood is keen to tap the potential.

Recently, Shahid Kapoor has signed a film on boxer Dingko Singh. His Rangoon co-actor Kangana Ranaut will also play a kabaddi player in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's next.
