Sanjay Raut slams Maharashtra Speaker's verdict, says will move Supreme Court

Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut slammed Maharashtra assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar after he declared Eknath Shinde-led faction the real Shiv Sena and said he would approach the Supreme Court. He added his faction's fight would continue in court.

In a big win for Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar today ruled that the Shiv Sena faction led by him was legitimate as he had the support of majority party MLAs. He also ruled that the Shinde faction MLAs cannot be disqualified as then Shiv Sena chief whip, Sunil Prabhu, had no authority to call the legislature meeting.
