Trump calls PM Modi father on India, opposition fumes

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi criticised US President Donald Trump for calling PM Narendra Modi "the father of India".

"Trump has no knowledge of our freedom struggle. Modi can't be the father of the nation because you can't compare him to Mahatma Gandhi. Even giants like Jawahar Lal Nehru and Sardar Patel were not given such titles," Owaisi said.
