A massive political storm has erupted over Congress leader Supriya Shrinate's remarks against BJP leader Kangana Ranaut. The BJP launched a blistering attack on Congress over the remarks of its leader Supriya Shrinate against Kangana Ranaut and demanded an apology from the top leadership of the opposition party.
This comes a day after a controversial comment was posted on social media platforms from Congress leader Shrinate's accounts against Ranaut, the Bollywood actor who has been fielded by the BJP as its candidate from the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency in Himachal Pradesh. Following the row, Shrinate removed the controversial remarks from all of her social accounts, and claimed that they had been posted not by her but by someone else who had access to her accounts.Â
So, what action has Congress taken against the person who used her accounts? Is Congress apologetic? And why is it that women continue to be the easiest targets when it comes down to sexuality in politics? Watch as panelists debate.Â
