Politics erupts over AMU VC's tribute to Kalyan Singh: Freedom of speech or intolerance by students?

Campus politics has erupted after Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice-Chancellor paid tribute to former UP CM Kalyan Singh. Posters condemning the AMU Vice-Chancellor for condoling Kalyan Singh's death appeared on the campus.

The posters, displayed on the AMU campus with "Students of Aligarh Muslim University" written on them, said, "Praying for a criminal is an unforgiving crime".

So, is this freedom of speech or intolerance by students?
