PM Modi, Donald Trump talk over phone amid tension with Pakistan over Kashmir situation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to US President Donald Trump over phone on Monday amid tension with Pakistan over Kashmir situation.

"PM highlighted the importance of creating an environment free from terror and violence and eschewing cross-border terrorism without exception," the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.

"In the context of the regional situation, PM @narendramodi stated that extreme rhetoric and incitement to anti-India violence by certain leaders in the region was not conducive to peace."
