Is BJP misplacing priorities by going on name-changing spree?

BJP government under Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh is on a name-changing spree. Name of Allahabad was changed to Prayagraj. Mugal Sarai station became Deen Dayal Upadhyay Station. Is this vote bank politics? or is it the true sentiment of the citizens residing in these cities?
