Dark side of lockdown: 100 per cent rise in domestic violence cases in India

Bruised, battered, abused -- the ugly side of the forced lockdown has reared its head. Domestic violence cases across the world have seen a huge spike and India is no different. A 100 percent rise in domestic violence cases and the complaints are all on email, which means only those with internet access are able to file complaints, leaving out a large chunk of women.
