Congress leaders protesting against Rahul Gandhi's disqualification detained in Delhi

Several Congress leaders, including former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat and Ajay Rai, and party workers were detained this evening from near the Red Fort when they tried to march to Town Hall to protest against Rahul Gandhi's disqualification from the Lok Sabha.

P Chidambaram was also stopped from reaching the Red Fort, from where the party had planned a protest march to Town Hall in old Delhi's Chandni Chowk.

The Congress on Tuesday announced a protest march from Red Fort to Town Hall against Gandhi's disqualification.
