Is 2018 the beginning for 2019 no-NaMo alliance?

A day ahead of the election results for five states, Opposition parties met in New Delhi to discuss a grand alliance against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the 2019 Lok Sabha election. But, leaders from Samajwadi Party and Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party skipped the meet.

With exit polls showing a dramatic edge for Congress party in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the Opposition parties want to send a message to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
