UN Security Council to hold closed-door meeting over J&K situation: What will happen?

While India on August 15 celebrated its 73rd Independence Day, thousands of people protested outside the Indian High Commission in London on Thursday in support of the disputed Jammu and Kashmir which recently lost its special status after the abrogation of Article 370.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is set to hold a closed-door meeting on India's decision to revoke Article 370, which granted special status to J&K, after Pakistan wrote a letter to the UN seeking the world body's intervention.
