A bomb threat was emailed to the Tamil Nadu DGPâs office on Sunday night, warning of explosives at the residence of Chief Minister MK Stalin and actors Ajith Kumar, Aravind Swamy and Khushbu. The alert triggered immediate security checks at all four locations. The threat comes just days after Ajith Kumarâs Injambakkam home received a similar anonymous warning.
A suspected white-collar Jaish-e-Mohammed module linked to last weekâs Red Fort car bomb blast was allegedly plotting a major fidayeen attack on December 6, sources said. Agencies uncovered the planâinternally dubbed âOperation D-6ââafter interrogating suspects arrested from Faridabad and Jammu & Kashmir. The group had reportedly been preparing a large car-borne suicide strike for weeks.
