MK Stalin, Tamil Nadu film stars get bomb threat; Suspected Jaish module in Delhi blast

A bomb threat was emailed to the Tamil Nadu DGP’s office on Sunday night, warning of explosives at the residence of Chief Minister MK Stalin and actors Ajith Kumar, Aravind Swamy and Khushbu. The alert triggered immediate security checks at all four locations. The threat comes just days after Ajith Kumar’s Injambakkam home received a similar anonymous warning.

A suspected white-collar Jaish-e-Mohammed module linked to last week’s Red Fort car bomb blast was allegedly plotting a major fidayeen attack on December 6, sources said. Agencies uncovered the plan—internally dubbed “Operation D-6”—after interrogating suspects arrested from Faridabad and Jammu & Kashmir. The group had reportedly been preparing a large car-borne suicide strike for weeks.
