Lingayat seer slams Congress, boost for BJP?

BJP President Amit Shah visited Kudalasangama - the holiest place for Lingayats world over. He prayed at the Sri Sangameshwara temple and carried on with his other visits.

Basaiah Swamy, a priest who welcomed Amit Shah spoke to India Today.

When asked about the Siddaramaiah government's decision to give special status to the Lingayats, Swamy says, "It is tough to accept this decision of dividing Lingayats. We want everyone to unite as one."
