Karnataka crisis: High time for political parties to stop petty games?

The high-drama in Karnataka political crisis has now crossed borders as Congress leader and troubleshooter DK Shivakumar, who landed in Mumbai to meet the rebel MLAs was stopped by the police outside the Renaissance hotel in Mumbai, where the MLAs are currently holed up.

Shivakumar arrived in Mumbai early morning on Wednesday to speak to the MLAs. However, the disgruntled MLAs remained adamant on not talking to any representative of the Congress- JD(S) government, writing a letter to Mumbai Police, demanding protection from any visiting colleagues.
