India celebrates 20 years of Kargil, BS Yeddyurappa likely to be Karnataka CM, more

On the 20th anniversary of Kargil war, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the chiefs of three services visited Kargil war Memorial in Dras, Jammu and Kashmir to pay tribute to the Kargil martyrs.

Karnataka BJP unit chief BS Yeddyurappa is likely to be sworn-in as the state chief minister today. The BJP had defeated the coalition government by 105-99 votes in the floor test on Tuesday.
