'Free Kashmir' posters seen during protests at Mysore University, heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh; more

A day after images and videos of a woman holding up a large poster with the words "Free Kashmir" in Mumbai had gone viral, fresh controversy erupted on Thursday as these posters were again seen during protests at Mysore University in Karnataka. The students of Mysore University were protesting over the JNU violence that unleashed on Sunday.

Meanwhile, heavy snowfall was witnessed in parts of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. The meteorological department has issued a fresh orange warning for heavy rain, snowfall in the state on January 12.
