Coronavirus cases spike in Chennai; Over 15,000 cases in Maharashtra; more

Tamil Nadu witnessed a worrying spike in the novel coronavirus numbers in the last one week. However, the spike in cases in the state has been mainly from Chennai, which has accounted for over half of all Covid-19 cases in Tamil Nadu.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra remains worst-hit state across the country due to novel coronavirus with over 15,000 cases.
