Canada says no evidence linking PM Modi, Indian leaders to Nijjar's killing

The Canadian government clarified on Friday that there is no evidence linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi or his top officials to any criminal activity in Canada, including the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The statement came after a Canadian newspaper reported claims by an unnamed national security official alleging that Union Home Minister Amit Shah orchestrated Nijjar's murder. The report further claimed that PM Modi, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval were informed of the plan.
