BJP worker shot dead in West Bengal; PM Modi in Varanasi, more

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker was shot dead in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Sunday night. Chandan Shaw, 24, was shot dead by unidentified assailants while he was driving a two-wheeler.

PM-designate Narendra Modi will visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Monday to thank the people for "reposing faith" in him. He will also offer prayers at the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple.
