Pahalgam attack mastermind, 2 other terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev

Security forces neutralised Pahalgam attack mastermind and two other terrorists in the Dachigam National Park area, close to Srinagar, in Operation Mahadev on Monday. One of the terrorists was Hashim Musa Suleiman, the top conspirator behind the Pahalgam terror attack and the Sonamarg tunnel attack of October 2024. The other two were identified as Abu Hamza and Yasir, also linked to the Pahalgam attack. Forces tracked the terrorists using a Chinese satellite phone and intelligence from local nomads. The operation was a surgical strike, and according to reports from the site, the terrorists "were literally killed in their sleep." The group, described as highly trained, had been on the run for months, avoiding local contact and surviving in the dense forests. A large cache of arms and ammunition, including an M4 carbine, was recovered from the hideout.
