UP deputy cm calls for mandir in Mathura: New flashpoint before UP assembly polls?

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has stirred a hornet's nest with his tweet on preparations for a temple at Mathura after Ayodhya and Kashi. A few days back, the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha has announced that that it will install a Lord Krishna idol at the deity's "actual birthplace", which it claims is in a mosque close to a prominent temple in Mathura.

Now, the Opposition is now accusing the BJP of trying to polarise voters ahead of upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. So, is this the new flashpoint before the UP assembly polls?
