The Enforcement Directorate (ED) struggles to locate the trail of Sushant Singh Rajput's "missing Rs 15 crore", which his girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, is accused of misappropriating. An India Today probe has found that the money, apparently linked to a film project, might not have been paid to the star in the first place.

India Today's investigative team probed Rhea Chakraborty's claims and reached out to Rumi Jaffery, who is being questioned by multiple agencies in connection with the case.

Rumi Jaffery agreed that Rajput and he did discuss a movie project featuring the actor and Rhea Chakraborty together, but were not able to sign an agreement because of the lockdown that followed.
