PM Modi takes first jab of coronavirus vaccine: Will this boost vaccination drive?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday took the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, Covaxin as he flagged off the second phase of vaccination drive.

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that PM Modi has set an example for the nation by taking the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

People aged above 60 and those between 45 and 59 who are suffering from comorbidities are eligible for vaccinations under the second phase of the drive.
