Security forces have killed Hashim Musa, the mastermind of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, in a joint operation codenamed 'Operation Mahadev' near Srinagar.Three Pakistani terrorists were eliminated in the encounter in the Dachigam forest. Musa, a feared Lashkar commander, was also allegedly a former commando of the Pakistani army's special forces. This development comes as a debate on 'Operation Sindoor' continues in the Lok Sabha, where AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the government's stance on relations with Pakistan. Owaisi asked why, if trade and other ties are cut, an India-Pakistan cricket match in the upcoming Asia Cup is being permitted. He stated, âThe Prime Minister said that blood and water cannot flow together. Terrorism and talks cannot happen together.â Owaisi also demanded accountability for the security failures that led to the Pahalgam attack.
