No PM Modi-Imran Khan meet at SCO Summit: Terror to cost Pakistan more now?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) for Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, told Chinese President Xi Jinping that his country's "all-weather friend" Pakistan must take concrete action against terrorism as "proposed" to it by India and that his efforts to develop peaceful bilateral relations with the western neighbour had been "derailed".

The issue came up during Modi's meeting with Xi.

India has maintained that that it cannot have talks with Pakistan until terrorism emanating from that soil comes to an end.
