Mamata vs Congress: Will a split Opposition mean advantage BJP?

Day after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took veiled swipes at the Congress leadership, the war of words between TMC and the grand old party has escalated. Hitting out at Mamata Banerjee, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury alleged that Didi and PM Modi were working together to weaken the Congress and defend their own interests.

"Mamata Banerjee and the BJP's relationship is an old one. It is being renewed now to save herself, her party, and especially her nephew [Abhishek Banerjee]," he said.
