Cyclone Nisarga spares Mumbai: Is the worst over for Maximum City?

At around 1 pm this afternoon, Cyclone Nisarga made landfall in Alibag, just south of Mumbai. The landfall lasted for nearly 3 hours. Rains battered the coast while Mumbai escaped the cyclone fury.
