Akalis gun for Sidhu, call him a traitor

Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal Tuesday called Congress leader and Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu "biggest traitor" of the country and demanded the Sidhu's call details be investigated "as he is in constant touch with Pakistanis".

Sidhu said that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has assured him that she will write to Pakistan government regarding opening of Kartarpur Sahib corridor.

Earlier, Sidhu had also written a letter to Sushma Swaraj to initiate a dialogue with Pakistan to open up the Kartarpur corridor.
