Was FIR against Sharad Pawar timed with Maharashtra assembly polls?

The NCP has accused BJP on vendetta politics over a fresh FIR against its supremo Sharad Pawar in eight-year-old MSC Bank scam. Speaking to Rajdeep Sardesai, NCP spokesperson Clyde Crasto accused the BJP of raking up Pawar's name in the investigation to divert attention from the failures of the state government ahead of assembly polls.
