Second Covid wave: Is national lockdown the only way to break the chain?

As India grapples with a raging second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the Karnataka government on Monday announced a 14-day statewide lockdown starting from tomorrow in a bid to control the huge spike in COVID-19 cases in the state.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government ordered a weekend lockdown and extended the night curfew by two hours in a bid to break the chain. So, as state after state consider a lockdown, is it time for a national lockdown to bend the Covid curve?
