Pollution across north India reaches dangerous levels

Pollution levels in New Delhi as well as across India have reached dangerous levels. The pollution control board has stepped in saying the use of private vehicles may be banned if air pollution worsens. The Centre said on Tuesday the Supreme Court's order on firecrackers will be followed strictly in Delhi and NCR and only the sale of eco-friendly fireworks would be permitted.
