After refusing to meet Imran Khan and even choosing not to fly over Pakistani airspace to Bishkek, PM Narendra Modi told Chinese President Xi Jinping that Pakistan must take concrete action against terrorism as proposed to it by India and that his efforts to develop peaceful bilateral relations with the western neighbour had been "derailed".
Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said that PM Modi told Xi that he had made efforts to build cordial relations with Pakistan but those were derailed.
