In a big breakthrough in the hunt for Covid-19 vaccine, Pfizer has claimed the final phase 3 trials of its vaccine are 95% effective. The drugmaker said the efficacy of the vaccine developed with German partner BioNTech SE was consistent across age and ethnicity demographics, and that there were no major side effects, a sign that the immunization could be employed broadly around the world.

And in the national capital, Covid situation remained grim. CM Kejriwal announced 600 new beds for govt hospitals.
