With 83,883 cases, India recorded the biggest single-day spike in coronavirus cases across the world. India could soon cross Brazil. The nationwide tally nears 39 lakh as Maharashtra continues to lead the charts with over 8 lakh cases. Pune is the city with most coronavirus cases in the country.

Delhi has allowed pubs and bars to reopen in the national capital from September 9 with 50% seating capacity. And pubs found violating norms will be sealed.
