Covid cases lowest in 9 months in India: Are we seeing the end of the pandemic?

India saw a major decline in Covid-19 cases on Tuesday with 8,865 new cases in the last 24 hours, lowest in 287 days.

The fresh cases reported today are 13.3% lower than yesterday. The fresh count brings India's total caseload to 3,44,56,401.

The top five states which have registered maximum cases are Kerala with 4,547 cases, followed by Tamil Nadu with 802 cases, West Bengal with 782 cases, Maharashtra with 686 cases and Mizoram with 611 cases.

So, are we seeing the end of the pandemic?
