Leadership crisis haunts Congress

India Today's special show The Long Story gives you an insight into the leadership crisis that is haunting the Indian National Congress.

According to sources, Rahul Gandhi was reluctant to return as the Congress president till the time he could not “cleanse” the party of leaders, mostly the old generation, he was not particularly fond of.

The plan was supposed to be executed after August 10 when Sonia Gandhi completed a year since she took charge as the party president following Rahul’s resignation last year.
