Teenagers excited to get vaccinated as vaccination drive for 15-18 year olds begins

After months of anticipation, children in India have been given access to the Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccination drive for children aged 15-18 years started today. The teenagers seemed to be excited as they lined up to get the Covid-19 vaccine shots.

Meanwhile, India on Monday reported 33,750 new Covid cases and 123 deaths over the past 24 hours. The Omicron case tally in India has risen to 1,700. Maharashtra has reported 510 cases so far, while Delhi has reported 351 patients.
