Shaista Parveen may surrender in Umesh Pal murder case; firing at Delhi Saket court; more

After the murder of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad's wife Shaista Parveen may surrender today. Her son Asad Ahmed was also gunned down in an encounter with UP Police Special Task Force (STF) on April 13 in Jhansi.

A woman suffered injuries after a shooter, disguised as a lawyer, fired shots at the Saket district court on Friday. Four rounds were fired on the court premises. The woman is in a critical condition and has been rushed to AIIMS. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the firing. According to sources, the accused is a history-sheeter. An investigation is underway.
