Rahul Gandhi to fight from Raebareli, KL Sharma from Amethi

Congress named Rahul Gandhi as the Lok Sabha candidate from Raebareli on Friday. Meanwhile, after much suspense, it fielded Kishori Lal Sharma from the Amethi constituency. The BJP has fielded Union Minister Smriti Irani from Amethi.

Both Amethi and Raebareli have been Congress bastions. Rahul Gandhi lost the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Amethi to Smriti Irani.
