BJP slams Mamata Banerjee over Bengal job scam

The Supreme Court has upheld the Calcutta High Court's verdict in the West Bengal school recruitment scam case, declaring that the entire hiring process was tainted by fraud and manipulation. It rejected the appeals challenging the High Court's cancellation of 25,780 appointments of teachers and non-teaching staff. The apex court emphasized that the integrity and fairness of the recruitment process had been completely compromised. Meanwhile, BJP leader Sambit Patra addressed the media, asserting that justice would prevail under the rule of law. He warned that if the BJP comes to power in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would face legal consequences.
