TDP national president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu questioned the ruling YSRP over the vandalism of a 400-year-old temple in Vizhinagaram and questioned why the government has failed to take immediate action in the Ramatheertham desecration incident. He also called CM YS Jagan Reddy a "Christian CM" while the YSRCP chief hit back saying these are ploys employed to divert attention from the government's welfare work. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has hinted at political conspiracy and has ordered a CID probe.
