Israel strikes Hezbollah's central command headquarters in Beirut

Israel has struck the central command headquarters of Hezbollah in Beirut, Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claim that the attack was targeted at Hassan Nasrallah, the chief of Hezbollah, who was believed to be at the headquarters at the time of the missile strike. The IDF described the targeted location as the underground central headquarters of Hezbollah. The strike resulted in massive plumes of smoke and devastation of several buildings in the area. The Lebanon health ministry reported that 700 people have been killed in the current phase of Israeli airstrikes and missile strikes, with over 2,600 injured.
