Baloch separatists hijack Pakistani train, claim 30 security personnel killed

The Pakistani government was dealt a blow after several Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) militants hijacked a passenger train with over 450 people on board. While the BLA claimed that it had killed around 30 Pakistani security forces personnel, the authorities disagreed, saying the number was well below what was being claimed. As per reports, the BLA has demanded the release of its men who are languishing in Pakistani jails in lieu of the hostages. More on India First.
