Covid cases surge despite jabs in Bahrain: Chinese vaccines ineffective?

In a major blow to Made in China vaccines, Bahrain and UAE have opted for Pfizer and Biontech jabs. Bahrain is battling a sharp surge in Covid cases despite high-rate of inoculation with the Chinese vaccine. Now, because of the limited efficacy of the Chinese jabs, not just Bahrain, but UAE is administering Pfizer BionTech jabs to those with comorbidities and those above the age of 50.
