Amid political uncertainty, President's Rule imposed in Maharashtra

Political impasse continued in Maharashtra as President's Rule was imposed in the state on Tuesday soon after President Ram Nath Kovind approved Governor BS Koshyari's recommendation.

The recommendation came after all the parties in the state failed to stake claim to form government in the state.

Meanwhile, arch-rivals—Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP--are under further discussions to form government in the state. For more, watch this episode of India First.
