Last week, 104 Indian nationals, who were living in the US as illegal immigrants, were deported on a special military plane from Texas to Amritsar as part of the Trump administration's stringent immigration policies and a clamp down on illegal immigration. The Indians were deported in handcuffs and leg restraints, which did not go down well with several opposition parties, who questioned the government about the "humiliation".

But what about the travel agents who duped these immigrants? They paid huge amounts of money to those agents who sent them to the US. But now their dreams stand shattered. They are staring at an uncertain future. More on India Today In Depth.
