In Assam, 90 per cent of Kaziranga National Park is inundated, which is taking toll on animals. So far, 15 people have died in Assam floods this year while incessant rains continue to pound the state. 31 of the 33 districts in Assam have been affected by the current spell of heavy rain.

While the flood situation in Bihar continues to remain grim with over 2.5 million people affected by it across the 12 districts of the state, officials said.
