Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati: A look at the entire controversy

Padmavati controversy is getting murkier by the day. It all began this year when Sanjay Leela Bhansali was thrashed on the sets of his film in Jaipur for allegedly distorting facts. Buzz had it that there's a dream sequence between Rani Padmini and Alauddin Khilji in the film. Soon Bhansali quashed the rumours. But fringe outfits aren't ready to back down. They have called for a Bharat Bandh on December 1 in lieu of Padmavati release. Also Karni Sena has now threatened to chop off Deepika Padukone's nose and behead Bhansali if the film releases.
